Freche Erbse in Donauworth

I would like to write a good review unfortunately this does not correspond to our experience. When we got to the restaurant we weren't given a bit of attention at first, we then looked for a place on our own When after 10 minutes there was still no service at our place, we got a menu from the next table and the icing on the cake were the really steep prices, even for small snacks. Then we left the restaurant.

What used to be a huge innovation in the district (purely vegan and vegetarian restaurant with very unusual dishes) is unfortunately now just an average restaurant with a few vegetarian dishes, the unusual ingredients from back then are left out. All pictures are from the previous location, where pulled jackfruit, hummus baguette, ravioli in coconut sauce and tofu dishes were still served. The only things from the other location are the bread dumplings with soy cakes, which were offered in the beer garden along with a few other dishes.

After a multi-day bike tour, I came here with my family to finish the tour and drive home. Best decision. The food was great, there very quickly and very vegan-friendly😍 the staff was very nice and competent. 6/5 stars!

Unfortunately I have to give the restaurant "cheeky pea" a bad rating. There were four of us today to eat there. Ordered 4 vegan dishes (2 of us are vegan). Location: The basement is not handicapped accessible (large stairs down to the "dining room". The floor was extremely dirty (leftovers). The walls were decorated with garlands and balloons (I felt like I was on a children's birthday party), and the table decorations were The shelf with the stereo system was dirty, cables were flying around and a smartphone was lying around. The place was filled with background music, which eventually stopped and was quiet. Staff: The waitresses were very friendly. Dogs and children were welcomed with joy. Food: The falafel salad was hearty and delicious, unfortunately the plate was chosen unfavorably so that eating without "throwing it off" was not possible. The jackfruit burger was way too sweet for most, unwieldy toppings, because the burger fell apart, but it was edible. Unfortunately, the vegetable patty burger also fell apart (no patty, rather mush) and was absolutely inedible. The chickpea schnitzel was not seasoned and way too dry. It was an indefinable sauce, but it was too sweet. The accompanying potato salad was bland, the dish itself was inedible. The ketchup was runny and the salad dressings way too sweet. Prices: Actually quite reasonable, judging by the quality of the food, but too expensive. All in all, I have to say with a heavy heart that our visit had a bland aftertaste, on the one hand because of the poor hygiene, on the other hand because of the bad food. If I had tried vegan food for the first time today, I would never try it again. Please don't hold it against me, but cooking delicious vegan food is not difficult.

Fresh, versatile, tasty, friendly. Vegan cuisine where nothing is missing and who also like meat eaters.

Delicious, homemade, vegan food in a cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Children are welcome, there is even a play area for children. We will come back - even with friends.

Granted, I was initially very skeptical about the naughty pea. However, I was very pleasantly surprised after my first visit. The food was delicious and was served very lovingly. Definitely an exceptional restaurant, well worth a visit. The service was friendly and had a friendly word at each table. Will gladly return there.

The "naughty pea" perfect for those who want to experience something special while eating. Not like every day, but, as in the cheeky pea. Just like I stop by and be very friendly, dedicated staff, advise and operate.

Very chic, child friendly and delicious restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and the little kids are well busy in the games area. For mom and dad is enough time for good organic coffee and cake or for the delicious vegetarian food. The prices are quite ok and the staff very friendly. There is no real point of criticism. It would be nice - and therefore only 4 * - if the food selection would be a bit bigger and the food still a few delicious (exceptional) Gaumenüberrschungen left over. The amount on the plate could be something more. Nevertheless, we would recommend the restaurant and come back.

Small but very fine selection of vegan and vegetarian foods and drinks. Great combinations and very nice staff. Price-performance top! The chocolate cake worth a sin. 😋

Great place to get a taste of vegan cuisine! Very creative, really tasty dishes, of course regional and really nice people. In no way like any standard snack bar, but an extraordinary, (still) small insider tip. Food, drinks, furnishings, service ... we were satisfied with everything. Thanks for that!
